Colossians 1:9, "For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;"
Wisdom from God is very important for the Christian. The world will offer a false wisdom. Men will offer false wisdom through philosophy and vain deceit and through traditions and the principles of the world system. We need to be filled with the knowledge of God's will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.
Jesus is the fullness of the Godhead bodily. He is all wisdom and spiritual understanding. It is all found in him. Amen. Colossians 2:9-10.
Father God, I do not want to follow the pattern of the world system with what it offers in philosophy, psychology, self-help, and step programs. I do not want the wisdom of men or of the devil or any kind of worldly wisdom. I seek after the wisdom that comes from you alone, and that wisdom is not just an abstract idea. Wisdom is a Person. He is the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
