Colossians 3:16, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."
To be filled with the knowledge of God's will requires that we read, study, memorize, and meditate upon God's word. This is work. No way around it. But if we will have the word of Christ dwell in us richly there is no other way. Set aside time every day to memorize God's word.
Don't let the devil convince you that you cannot memorize scripture. I've had students with elementary school level of education or who could barely read who, by God's grace, memorized scriptures. Start with Philippians 4:13.
Lord, fill me with the word of God. Help me to meditate upon your word day and night. Lord, I want to sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs unto you, singing with grace in my heart unto the Lord. Grant me grace and mercy to be filled with the word of God, to be filled with praise and worship every day. In Jesus name. Amen.
