2 Corinthians 1:12, "For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward."
The opposite of "fleshly" wisdom is a good conscience and a life of simplicity and godly sincerity. God wants us to live out the wisdom of a simple, humble life of faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
God's wisdom is a life of grace. This grace comes to us as a result of the finished and completed work of Christ in his death, burial, and resurrection. Romans 5:16; Ephesians 2:5, 8.
Father God, thank you for your mercy and grace. Lord, I am thankful for the power of your grace in enabling us to live a humble, simple, and sincere lifestyle. Lord, deliver us from all fleshly wisdom. Fill us with the heavenly wisdom that comes from the Holy Spirit. Amen.
