Fool's Wisdom - (9/12)

1 Corinthians 3:19, "For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness."

God is actively opposed to the wisdom of the world. He will oppose anyone who makes use of the wisdom of the world in ministry or teaching God's word. Anyone who strays away from the simplicity of the gospel will eventually have their ministry crumble. God hates the world system, and will always destroy the wisdom of man where he finds it.

The Bible shows us what the wisdom of the world looks like. Colossians 2:8 teaches us to beware of a man who would spoil us through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world.

Heavenly Father, search my life for any errors where I have received the wisdom of the world. Deliver me from the foolishness of thinking like the world system. Lord, you will deal with people who follow the wisdom of the world. You take them in their own craftiness. Lord, save me from this deception. Give a pure heart, oh Lord. In Jesus name. Amen.
