Romans 14:9, "For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living."
Through his death, burial, and resurrection God showed that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and he is Lord of all. He is before all things, and in him all things consist. Jesus is Lord of all.
Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Philippians 2:9-11.
Lord, you are over those who are alive and those have died. You are Lord over all that you have made. You created us. Own us. You redeemed us. You own us again. We are yours, oh Lord. We are your people, the sheep of your pasture. Lord, return and reign over your people forever, amen.
