Word of Wisdom - (9/13)

1 Corinthians 12:8, "For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;"

God gives spiritual gifts, including the word of wisdom and the word of knowledge. This is not wisdom or knowledge that comes from man's systems of religion or philosophy. This is a wisdom that comes from the Holy Spirit.

Remember Jesus said that the Father reveals these things to babes (the humble). Matthew 11:25. God hides from the "wise and prudent" and instead reveals himself unto babes.

Heavenly Father, I thank you for all of the gifts of the Spirit. Lord, you never change, and your word never changes. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are for us today just as much as they were in the early church. You have not changed your mind about giving the church all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I thank you for giving the church the word of wisdom and the word of knowledge. Amen.
